Thank you! Thank you! I have been looking for this pattern ever since I ran across a Mexican hat thimble holder at a garage sale. I want to make them as gifts. I tried my hand at inventing a pattern, but failed.

OMG ~ 50 or more, years ago a cousin of mine made these and I’d forgotten about them. Now I have to go searching through some boxes to see if I still have one. And, I’ll have to get busy and make my own. Thanks for bringing back some great memories! Barbara

Your hat are really cute! I was wondering what colors you use for what month, I have been playing around with making things for each month but want to get the closet colors to the birthstone colors I can so when I found this I just thought I would ask.
