JANUARY 3, 2016    JANE’S HEART TO HEART    Pastor’s Help Mate.

MY 2016 CHALLENGE

This year I have decided to change my plan of Bible Study.  I plan to spend time writing the Scriptures, including some more in-depth study while listening to a passage and even maybe adding a bit of calligraphy.

Appropriate Scriptures:

Psalm 109:30-31 (KJV) 30 I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.  31 For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.

Ps 73:24 “Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel and afterward receive me into Glory.”

As for a motto, I am returning the one chosen  for my web site years ago….

“TRUE HAPPINESS AND PEACE DO NOT EXIST APART FROM GOD.”

— Write out short portions of Scriptures (thanks to a friend on FB I found “Journibles: the 17:18 Series”),  which is a journal into which one can copy the Scriptures and add  notes and comments.  (based upon  Moses’ instructions to the future King in Duet. 17:18).   Author, Robert J. Wynalda.

— Try to study  the passage more deeply making notes. personal comments.

— Listening to those Scriptures as I write

— I also plan on spending more time praising and rejoicing on my piano keyboard with an appropriate hymn, with expression and thoughtfulness to the words .

— Spend time in prayer regarding what I have studied and then have my prayer time regarding those included in Jane’s Prayer Ministry, family, and church  ministries.

Proverbs 9:10 (KJV)   10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
