I Peter 3:15

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:”

Ladies, we should be able to speak a word to anyone who asks about what Christ did for us, and that we personally have trusted  and believed in HIM.  This should not be something that we are afraid to speak of or at a loss of words!!

You might say, I just don’t know how to say it.   If that is true, I want to encourage you to immediately come before the Lord and ask Him to give you the words.  Then take pen in hand and write down your personal experience with God and read it daily.

If someone asked when you were born,   do you remember it?  NO, of course not.   If that is the way it is with your salvation then you need to do the same as your birthdate.  You have a record, a birth certificate that tells you that you were born.  You memorized it as a child. You carry a record in you purse or important papers.  If you remember the occasion when you gave your life to the Lord consciously, then you need to write down what you remember about that.   Then you need to find a  Scripture that speaks to the issue of receiving Christ. Usually the difficulty is  because you really have not spent time in the Word of God and with His people.   Let’s change that.

Acts 16:31…. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved and thy house. Have you done that?   Then use that verse.

John 3:16…   For God so loved the world (your Name) that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever (Your name) believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.     Have you believed that Jesus gave His life for your sin. Then use that verse.

Romans 3:23…   “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.   Do you believe you are a sinner.”   If you do not believe this…. You cannot be saved.

Romans 5:8… “ But God commendeth His love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”  Do you believe Christ died instead of you  Then use that verse.

Romans 10:9-10… If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Do you believe that in your heart?  Then use that verse.  If  God can forgive our sin, surely we should be able to trust Him. There are many more.

Sometimes people are not sure they are saved because of unconfessed sin…..  Then confess it… I John 1:9….  the Lord says to Christians.   “If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

This is the most important thing that you can do in your life.   Do it!   Don’t put it off.
