God Is Still On The Throne….

God Is Still On The Throne….

flag-63f6642b64e106a8947daafa44e52b21Reminder to us all…. God is Still on the Throne.
Many Christians prayed and now we are trusting Him.

Isaiah 26:3-4

“3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in Thee.
4.Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.”
We can have peace and JOY in these hard times.
Now it is our job to continue to pray for our leaders…. Many Christian leaders have emphasized PRAYER to the Lord JEHOVAH and I am especially thankful for Franklin Graham, Ann Graham Lotz and Nancy DeMoss and many others who raised awareness of Christian’s need to pray and get out and vote.

I am thankful also for the strong testimony of Vice Pres. elect, Mike Pence.

I personally want to encourage all of my friends to pray fervently for our leaders, and fellow Christian to strive to make a difference for Christ, in your homes, churches, and communities.
1. to personally pray more (not like a rabbit’s foot) but for His perfect will in your own personal life.
2. to read your Bibles
3. to go and take every member of your family, faithfully to a solid Bible preaching Church.

For many years I have heard professing Christians saying, “we need the 10 Commandments, the Bible, and God back in our schools, etc.”, yet there is very little evidence that there is Bible reading and instruction in the Word, nor Church attendance, in those homes.

Often when we talk with those who say they are saved it is very obvious that Christ is not first, Bible reading is not first, church attendance is not first. If you love God and truly want to serve God, you will want to run to church, you will want to share Him with others. You will want to choose the things for your children that will make them better servants of Christ. Some parents do not even know if their children are saved nor do they pray for them. Many professing Christians put far more emphasis and money, sports, travel, and entertainment, watching “dancing with the falling Stars”,  you name it; than they do on seeing to it that their children give their talent to him for His glory.

We seem to be better at using the Scriptures to prove the questionable practices we can participate in.

These things are caught, faster than they are taught… Be an Example.
Parents: read Deuteronomy 6:6-9

Adrian Rogers

“Artificial insemination is the ideal method of producing a pregnancy, and a lesbian partner should have the same parenting rights accorded historically to biological fathers.” Quoted from the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women, summer of 1995.

You did not see a few isolated reports. There is an international agenda seeking to render fathers legally obsolete. Regardless of their legal success, fathers will always be critical to a healthy society. The United States is becoming overrun with fatherless homes, and suffering the consequences. This epidemic is causing our society to disintegrate and succumb to rampant crime, drug abuse, and poverty.

Fathers are critical to both sons and daughters. Sons need fathers to learn about being a godly man; how to fear God (Proverbs 1:7), have self-control, work hard, and respect women, just to name a few. Try as she might, mom alone will be hard-pressed to teach a son these valuable lessons. For daughters, their entire self-image comes from how they are treated by their fathers. A woman’s relationship with men will likely mirror her relationship with her father. The future of kids, regardless of gender, is firmly anchored in their relationship to their fathers.

Fathers, you have a tremendous responsibility. It’s not just your job to teach children how to become adults. Nearly everything they know about God they will learn from watching you (Acts 16:31). “ Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”

You are a representative of God, don’t let Him down.

Now for the wives and mothers…

Voice Your Gratitude – say it out loud

The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life. —Proverbs 31:11–12

Look for His Servant’s Heart

Through love serve one another. —Galatians 5:13

Cultivate Patience toward Your Husband – – Adjust your expectations.  Praise him for the work he does.

Let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands. —Ephesians 4:28

What’s on Your Tongue?—Tell your family why you love your husband.  Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. —Ephesians 4:29

Take Time to Listen   Ladies this is hard… Pray for this.

Be quick to hear, slow to speak. —James 1:19

Demonstrate respect: Part of showing respect includes submission to his authority.

Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. —Ephesians 5:22.

“For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior” Eph. 5:23.

Children, Young people, adults….. God’s way is the best way to rebuild our nation…. and that is through obedience to God’s instructions with regard to  Fathers Leading, Wives respecting and Children’s obedience…. and that obedience is learned from the Father, ultimately.

Oh the Joy we can have in our Hearts and our Homes when we follow the Saviour’s instructions.
